With Ghost Recon: Wildlands being 3 months away now, Ubisoft has opened up beta registrations for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Ubisoft is exploring new territory with the upcoming open-world co-op squad shooter, promising extensive character and gear customization, an assortment of vehicles, and an emphasis on tactical combat. While some of these features have appeared in other Tom Clancy Ubisoft shooters like Rainbow Six Siege and The Division, they haven’t all come together in a package quite like this.
You take on the role of a highly secret Special Operative force known as the Ghosts. Playable single player or up to 4-player co-op, the Ghosts are sent deep behind enemy lines in a future Bolivia that has been taken over by the Santa Blanca drug cartel. Ghost Recon: Wildlands aims to capture the dynamic nature of being a Special Operative in a dangerous and rugged landscape, with the freedom to choose how you approach each mission, and how you explore Bolivia. Blend into the jungle and ambush the enemy, go in guns blazing, or drop in from a helicopter.
